James Rus Miller
Vice President of Energy Projects
James "Rus" Miller is EnerTech's Vice President of Energy Projects. Currently, his primary responsibility is managing local issues for the development of EnerTech's facility in Rialto, California.

Mr. Miller assists with EnerTech's contract negotiations, engineering decision making, and market evaluations for the Rialto project. He also participates in corporate planning. He is developing EnerTech's E-fuel opportunities for the production of electricity and heat, both at SlurryCarb™ project sites for EnerTech use and for sale to local customers.

Mr. Miller has considerable experience in the area of technology management. He served as president and COO of Luz Engineering Corporation where he supervised six local managers, 25 staff and 310 operating personnel in operating the world's largest solar power company producing 354 MW of power. Mr. Miller negotiated and led a joint research program with Sandia National Laboratory to reduce the cost of solar thermal power. He has also acted as the COO for Arkenol, Inc. where he supervised business development managers, corporate and patent counsel, and created a foreign joint venture that resulted in the first operating plant. His extensive executive experience and the wealth of knowledge that he obtained through his career allowed him to go into corporate consulting for companies such as Agri-Tech, Reynard Corporation, and finally EnerTech. While an officer in the nuclear submarine navy, Mr. Miller conducted development testing for a wide range of technologies in three oceans.

Mr. Miller attained a dual degree at Texas A&M and Baylor, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering. He is currently obtaining a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management at the University of Phoenix. Mr. Miller also authored Costs of Concentrated Acid Hydrolysis Ethanol, 19th Symposium on Biotechnology, 1997; Alkali Metals in CFB Ash, Electric Power Research Institute 1988; and Safety Manual for Tenders, US Pacific Fleet, 1986.
