How long has EnerTech been in business?
EnerTech Environmental, Inc. was founded in 1992 to research and develop clean renewable energy technologies for high moisture wastes.
In 2000 we changed focus to streamlining our SlurryCarb™ technology to produce renewable energy from biosolids. We are currently constructing our first commercial biosolids processing facility in Rialto, California.
Where do you have operating facilities?
EnerTech is constructing a Regional Biosolids Processing Facility in Rialto, California that will incorporate EnerTech's proprietary SlurryCarb™ process to convert approximately 900 tons per day of biosolids into approximately 180 tons per day of renewable fuel. The facility is expected to begin operations at the end of 2008.
EnerTech has demonstrated the SlurryCarb™ technology on a commercial scale with the construction and three year operation of a 20 ton per day facility in Ube City, Japan. The demonstration facility, built in conjunction with EnerTech's Japanese licensee, Mitsubishi Corporation, processed Municipal Solid Waste, a much more difficult feedstock than biosolids due to its lack of uniformity. Following the Ube City operations, EnerTech conducted extensive testing at its Process Development Unit (PDU) located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mitsubishi has since licensed the SlurryCarb™ technology and developed a second PDU for demonstrating the process to potential customers throughout Japan.
