Evaluation Process
Frequently Asked Questions
At EnerTech we work diligently to provide customers with the knowledge they need to evaluate our technology and our organization.

Can this technology benefit my agency/company?
EnerTech's SlurryCarb™ technology is an adaptable process that can be applied to a variety of high-moisture feedstocks. We would be happy to assist you in evaluating our technology. Please contact us and we will work with you to assess how our technology can best meet your needs.

The following information, if available, will be helpful in the evaluation process:

  • The quantity of biosolids that you are looking to process
  • An explanation of how your agency is currently processing biosolids (digested/undigested, etc.)
  • A description of possible locations for a SlurryCarb™ facility
  • A description of the local waste management options over the short and long term

What does this technology cost?
The cost of a SlurryCarb™ facility is contingent on a myriad of factors such as the size of the plant and quantity of biosolids being processed; however, the technology is a sustainable biosolids option. Unlike agricultural land application, land filling, or incineration, the cost of SlurryCarb™ plant operations does not fluctuate due to market instability or regulation.

Is it possible to license this technology?
Yes. After the success of the demonstration plant in Ube City, Japan, Mitsubishi entered into a license agreement with EnerTech to utilize the SlurryCarb™ technology and began operations of an additional biosolids demonstration plant in Japan with its partner, Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd. The new PDU began operating in February 2006. Mitsubishi is currently marketing the technology to customers in Japan and throughout Asia.
