EnerTech Environmental Appoints Jay R. Troger as Chief Executive Officer

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (March 2, 2011) – EnerTech Environmental, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jay R. Troger to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Troger brings demonstrated leadership abilities and a wealth of experience in the renewable energy industry to his new position at EnerTech.

“EnerTech delivers a unique renewable energy technology to the biosolids industry,” said Troger. “I look forward to working with the EnerTech team in my new role as CEO to realize the company’s growth opportunities and drive the expansion of its much needed, environmentally beneficial technology.”

Troger comes to EnerTech from Greenwood Fuels, a producer of densified fuel pellets as a renewable coal alternative. As CEO of Greenwood Fuels, Troger led the company’s technology commercialization efforts culminating in the successful sale of the business in July 2010. Troger negotiated mutually successful customer relationships and worked extensively with government entities to pave the way for the use of Greenwood’s fuel product as a renewable fuel.

Cliff Gould, who stepped in as interim CEO in August 2010, will assume the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.
