ATLANTA, GEORGIA (September 13, 2007) – EnerTech Environmental has been named to AlwaysOn Network’s GoingGreen Top 100 Private Companies. The award recognizes small and emerging companies that are creating new business opportunities in green technology.
The first annual elite GoingGreen Top 100 list was compiled from a survey of more than 500 venture capital investors, investment bankers, and technology insiders. Over 350 companies were nominated for the honor. The final Top 100 were chosen based on demonstrated emerging leadership in their markets, large market potential, noticeable buzz, and an innovative approach likely to transform existing markets and disrupt established players in their sectors.
“It is a great honor,” said Kevin Bolin, EnerTech President and CEO. “Being recognized for our green approach to biosolids management confirms our strategy of converting organic waste material to a renewable fuel on a long-term and sustainable basis.”
EnerTech and the other Top 100 winners were featured as part of AlwaysOn Network’s inaugural GoingGreen conference at the University of California, Davis. The conference spotlights new entrepreneurial opportunities created by green technologies, and facilitates networking opportunities between business leaders, investors, media, and bloggers in the greentech movement.
Mr. Bolin participated in the conference as a guest speaker on the panel Smart Green Cities, a discussion that focused on the future of waste as a new source of energy for our cities.
