Process Development Unit
EnerTech built a 1.6 ton per day Process Development Unit (PDU) located in Atlanta, Georgia, to demonstrate the SlurryCarb® process.
The PDU was designed to procure engineering data from extended operations and produce larger volumes of eFuel product for testing. This fully functional demonstration facility included all the necessary pumping, heating, depressurizing and dewatering systems necessary to simulate a commercial SlurryCarb® facility.
EnerTech used the PDU to refine the SlurryCarb® process for biosolids and several other feedstocks. Engineering data from the PDU was used in the design of the commercial scale Rialto SlurryCarb® Facility.
