Rialto Regional Biosolids Processing Facility
Located in Rialto, California, the Rialto Regional Biosolids Processing Facility will convert approximately 883 wet tons per day of biosolids from five municipalities in the Los Angeles region into 167 dry tons per day of renewable fuel.
The renewable fuel, called E-Fuel, will be used by a local cement kiln as an alternative to coal.
Facility Customers
The facility’s customers include the Orange County Sanitation District, the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County, the City of Riverside, the City of San Bernardino Municipal Water Department, and the City of Rialto.
Project Partners
HDR, FILANC, North American Energy Services, Deutsche Bank, and Lehman Brothers are a few of the professional and experienced organizations that we are collaborating with for this project.
