E-Fuel
The end product of the SlurryCarb™ process, the renewable E-Fuel, provides an ideal solution to biosolids recycling and beneficial reuse. Beyond just recycling biosolids, E-Fuel provides the environmental benefit of generating clean, renewable energy.
EnerTech has conducted extensive research regarding the use of E-Fuel. E-Fuel shares many chemical and heat content characteristics with typical western brown coals and lignites. The SlurryCarb™ process removes key pollutants during the conversion from biosolids.
E-Fuel Heating values are similar to that of pulverized coal or distillate fuel, but because of its renewable nature, E-Fuel produces essentially zero net greenhouse gas emissions. All emissions are well within typical emissions standards without extensive air pollution control systems.
